 Author Profile:

Mauricio Herrera Volcan is Senior Geophysicist with 20 years of experience in O&G. He joined Schlumberger in 2001 and progressed from Onsite Support to senior Geomodeler in Venezuela. In 2010 he moved to the Headquarters office in the UK as Technical Manager for Geophysics, were led the communication and development of Geophysics software. In 2104 he moved to Perth, as a Geoscience business manager, responsible for the strategy of software products and consulting services in Australasia. After that, he transitioned to Digital Subsurface Business development manager in the same region, in charge of Geoscience, Reservoir Engineering, Seismic Processing, and Data services. In 2022 Mauricio moved to Muscat to consolidate the digital strategy for Oman, Pakistan, Yemen, and Iraq and look after the Digital Subsurface business.
